HTA & Health Services Research is a department within Public Health and Quality Improvement, Central Denmark Region. HTA & Health Services Research comprises 9 core HTA staff members, supported by 40 members of scientific staff within the centre. HTA & Health Services Research is closely collaborating with the Department of Public Health, Aarhus University. To support the work of HTA & Health Services Research the department has a documentalist function and a data management unit with four members of scientific staff. Hence, HTA & Health Services Research is having solid competences within the four categories of a classic HTA (technology, organisation, economy and patient), additionally the project management is always carried out within the department. All HTA reports from the department are undergoing internal and external peer review before publication. The language of original reports is Danish - including an English summary. The results are often published in international peer-reviewed journals (English).
